Quick & Easy Stirfry

I'm submitting this recipe for Healthy Vegan Friday, because I really enjoy it and it's quick and easy - I come back to this fairly often!

I had a pretty tasty stirfry last week and some of you requested the recipe, so here it is! Happy Monday, guys. :)

OH, and don't forget to enter my Thankful Thanksgiving Giveaway! Wow, I can't believe that it's already that time of year...

Quick & Easy Stirfry

* A serving of spinach
* 1 to 2 Tbsp oil (of choice)
* A little chopped onion
* 1 tofu sausage, chopped
* 1 potato, chopped
* A little bit of frozen cauliflower
* Spices (I used salt, pepper, and a wee bit of oregano)

1) Sautee the onion in the olive oil.
2) Add cauliflower and potato, stir. Cook for a about one minute.
4) Add tofu sausage, spinach, spices. Cook, stirring occasionally, until ready to eat!

Yum. :) The smaller you chop the veggies and tofu sausage, the faster it cooks. And I recommend topping it with mustard!

Do you eat a lot of potatoes?

Ketchup, mustard, or BBQ sauce (or other)?

What ordinarily forms the base of your stirfries?

  2. Good luck on your exams! Sweet potatoes >>>>> potatoes, but they're *so* expensive in Germany. You can bet I'll be all over them when I'm back in the US, though! ;)

  3. I love potatos and sweet potatos! But the sweet potatos are really expensive here in Germany :(

    I used to hate ketchup but now im starting to like it :)

  4. I used to dislike ketchup, too! I loved it when I was little, then couldn't stand it, and now I'm a fan again (but not quite like when I was little and *everything* was better with ketchup). :P

    Le sigh to the expensive German sweet potatoes. I guess it's because the climate's all wrong and they have to be imported (which is why I also don't really buy them here, since it's super environmentally unfriendly), but I do miss them. I'm probably going to buy a big sack when I go home. Are you in Germany for several more years or...wait, hold on! You're almost college age, right? Are you planning on studying in Germany or the US?

  5. stir-fry is definitely a favourite of mine,
    especially when it has spinach in it. yum !!
    What I usually use as a base
    for my stir-fry is mushrooms!
    Also very yum.

    I hope you're having a lovely day x

  6. Spinach is so yummy! I used to *really* dislike it, but it's one of my favorite foods now (especially sauteed). Hm, I haven't actually eaten mushrooms in ages. I suppose I'll have to try them again!

    Thanks, I hope you're having a great day, too! I have today off, since I worked through last weekend, and I volunteered at my little sister's school. Fun stuff. :)
