Sunday Steals #5

It's August! That means, for most students, at least, school is about to start up again!

Sure, being a student means a lot of work - and yes, you usually have to pay to do work when you're a student. But there are some perks, beyond the flexible hours.

Student Discounts!

So before I do this week's Sunday Steals, here are the discounts some student-friendly businesses offer:

Charlotte Russe - 10% off
J Crew - 15% off (sales items not included)
Top Shop - 10% off
AMC Theaters - Discounted student tickets every Thursday
Amazon Student - Free Amazon Prime for 1 year
Sony - 10% off for college students
Amtrak - Buy one full fare ticket, get one 50% off
Chick-Fil-A - 10% off
Dairy Queen - 10% off
Eastern Mountain Sports - 15% off

And don't forget to enter my virgin coconut oil giveaway, either, for a chance to make your baking endeavors cheaper!

Okay, on to this week's Sunday Steals!

Matt Stripe-Lined Plastic Mac for $22 ($60) at TopShop

Bloomer Shorts in Speech Bubble Print for $9.94 ($33.14) at ASOS

L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara for $2.24 ($8.99) at ULTA

Arizona Short Sleeve V-Neck Tee for $3 at JC Penney

I think that last one is just their regular price, but it's such a good deal for just a basic wardrobe staple! The shirts come in four colors.

Have you ever taken advantage of student discounts?

What's your system for remembering to use coupons and discounts?

  11. Definitely take advantage of the J.Crew one! Usually the one by where I live remembers to ask for a student ID, but you can get the discount at the outlets too if you remind them. SUCH a money saver :)
