Friday Foodie Finds #11

Though pumpkin isn't a personal favorite of mine (I much prefer Japanese pumpkin - kabocha) the blogosphere always goes crazy for it. So for this week's Friday Foodie Finds, I'm focusing on pumpkin recipes!

Christina's Pumpkin Fudge

What's your favorite pumpkin recipe?

What flavors do you like best with pumpkin? Don't say the obvious cinnamon or nutmeg! I want to hear crazy stuff - are there any good fruits or nuts or chocolates that you love pairing with pumpkin?

What's the oddest thing you've ever had pumpkin in?

  1. I love desserts! These look so delicious ;)

  2. I use canned pumpkin all year around, but I love all the pumpkin recipes that come out this time of year! Thanks for sharing, those poppers looks delicious :)

  3. these look all so yummy. very well chosen recipes!

  4. These all look fantastic! I cannot wait to indulge in pumpkin this autumn!

  5. Never tried pumpkin pumpkin (you know the orange round thing), but I have tried an italian pumpkin that I LOVED. I ate it once a day, sometimes multiple times a day. I like it roasted till it's almost carmalized and then eaten straight up. I like sage with it, and actually tahini isn't half bad either (in a sweeter version). Gosh, looking at all those delicious recipies is making me wish I had roasted up my squash for dinner :P

  6. Your foodie finds certainly bring on your autumn :D

    Choc Chip Uru

  7. Delicious! I'm following and I hope you do the same.Kisses

  8. Pumpkin fudge?! Oh my... thanks for finding all these recipes! :D

  9. finally, a blogger not obssessed with pumpkin. I do like all those recipes. Those pumpkin poppers look the best to me.

The weirdest pumpkin recipe I've had? I made pumpkin gnocchi a while ago which actually was couldn't taste the pumpkin though.

  10. I love pumpkin, but I only just started getting into it! Last year at this time I wasn't a huge fan and it's still not my fave but I'm appreciating it more.

The best flavor combo with pumpkin (other than maple syrup or chocolate) is this quick microwave bake I made the other day. I mixed some pumpkin puree with some mashed sweet potato, a little coconut flour and agave, some vanilla almond milk and heated it all up. It was surprisingly really good!

Please say hello, leave your comments, or answer my questions! It makes me smile when you leave me a note :) I read every single one of them and it makes my day when you guys say hi!
