Sunday Steals #9 and a Super Fun Giveaway!

Why go too long without a giveaway? I'm seriously loving how many giveaways I've been having lately - and there are more to come, yay!

Because what's a better deal (and a better match for a Sunday Steal) than free?

So, thanks to Siggi's, I get to kick this week off on a happy note - with another giveaway!

If you love Greek yogurt, you need to try Skyr! Siggi's has generously sent me a few gift certificates to share with one lucky reader, so that you can try Skyr and Siggi's new probiotic drink! The yogurt is my favorite:

Here's what's not in it - no aspartame, no sucralose, no gelatin, no artificial colorings, no preservatives, and no high fructose corn syrup. It's also gluten-free and recombinant bovine growth hormone (rBGH).

Here's what is in it - just three simple, natural ingredients in the plain and just one or two more in each of the flavored Siggi's Skyr yogurts..

Skyr is the Icelandic name for high-protein, low fat, super thick and creamy yogurt - I, personally, couldn't tell much of a difference between this and greek yogurt. Maybe this was still a touch creamier?

It's really smooth, filling from all the protein, and perfect with granola and nut butter :) Or however you like your yogurt!

Other flavors are great, too, and these yogurts are definitely not too sweet.

If you have a huge sweet tooth, you might even add sugar! But there's  enough flavor and I like my yogurts not too sweet, as I love to add granola.

Note, though, that the raspberry pomegranate one is the one on the right - it's not super fruity, it's more like yogurt with a hint of fruit. Perfect for forming the base of a great yogurt bowl!

Frankly, getting Siggi's Filmjolk and Skyr sounds pretty awesome to me.

But to sweeten the deal, I'm throwing in a bunch of other coupons for some of my favorite things. In all, you'll get:

* 2 vouchers for FREE Siggi's Filmjolk (up to $3.39 each)
* 10 coupons for $1 off any Siggi's product

* 2 coupons for $1 off Helios Kefir
2 coupons for $1 off any LifeWay Kefir Product

coupon for $1 off So Delicious Soy Milk Frozen Dessert
coupon for $1 off So Delicious Coconut Milk
coupon for $1 off So Delicious Coconut Milk Frozen Dessert or Novelties

That's a total of $31.33 in health food coupons to let you try some of the foods that I've reviewed lately, or will be reviewing soon - now you can try them along with me!

The giveaway runs for two weeks, giving you plenty of time to enter!

You also still have a few days left to enter my Gardein Giveaway! While these next deals aren't quite as good as free, they're still pretty sweet. So enter the giveaway and enjoy my window Safari virtual sales rack finds!

  4. Love, love, love thick yogurt. Actually I'm more a fan of the plain stuff then the sweetened stuff - it's more customizable in my opinion. Too bad the giveaway is only for US/Canada or I'd be ALL over this :P

  5. Oh! I have been pestering my towns health food store mananger, thank goodness he's also my friend, to get Siggi's for months now! I really really want to try it! Usually I'm all for the the plain stuff! However the Siggi's flavors all looks so good, especially the ginger orange! Yum! The area where we live is a wee bit rural however. :) We can't get Vega products either. :( What makes it worth it is having the ocean, one of the worlds cleanest rivers and old growth redwood forest all within walking distance. Thank you Danai, for doing what you do! My eating habits are just as quirky! Yogurts at all hours, dense nutrition, fruit and beans in combos most people would call crazy! If it tastes good though!:)
