It's finally December!

I'm sure you know what this means - I'm going Christmas crazy with this Friday Foodie Finds post!

Let's be real. It was all downhill after Halloween and once Thanksgiving came and went?

Yeah, that was pretty much it.

Anyway, to celebrate the start of the merriest time of the year, this Friday Foodie Finds is peppermint themed! Enjoy these Christmas-y recipes and get your holiday bake on!

Peppermint is just one of those very-Christmas-y flavors to me. Yummy!

I've been wanting to try Zevia for a while, as I've seen it a lot on blogs over the past year. Sugar-free and made with stevia instead of the harmful chemical artificial sweeteners of most diet sodas, its no wonder that health-conscious bloggers are reaching for Zevia.



But how's the taste?

Great! I'm not a huge soda drinker, but I like ginger ale now and then - especially on planes, trains, long car rides, or when I'm sick. Especially if my tummy isn't feeling great, ginger ale is the best! I'm not all that into other flavors, but I love ginger ale. 

And this ginger ale is just as good as Canada Dry! The one caveat is that you need to serve these sodas ice cold. That's how ginger ale tastes best, anyway, but it's especially true for all of these sodas. At room temperature, you can definitely taste that there's something unusual about the sodas (especially in the lemonade twist soda). But if you serve them super cold, everyone will enjoy them!

Zevia has several recipes on their site, in case you want to get creative with the sodas (beyond just enjoying them straight-up), but I have a strong recommendation for how to best serve root beer Zevia. Chill it well in the fridge, then add a few scoops of vanilla ice cream and enjoy with a long handled spoon. YUM!
