Or a PB&J.
A lot of jams (a really surprising amount!) have unhealthy additives like high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) and food dyes. Blech, I don't want to add that to my nutritious breakfast!
I like that Stonewall Kitchen jams don't have any of that icky stuff. It's just fruit and sugar and a few other standard jam ingredients.
So they're pretty much the sort of jam I'd make myself if I had (a) the time, (b) the skills, and (c) an abundant fruit garden.
But since I don't...
Stonewall Kitchen has a bunch of different flavors of jams, but I tried their all-natural Cherry Berry Jam and their limited edition all-natural White Nectarine Jam.
These jams are proper jams, not just thicker jellies! There are seeds and berries and yumminess!!
You know how I feel about textures :)
The jam tastes super fruity and there's nothing artificial tasting about it - because they use natural ingredients!
It's great as the star, on a slice of plain buttered bread.
It's also amazing as a peanut butter complement for a PB&J or an open-faced PB&J slice!
The White Nectarine Jam is also really tasty and I think it's really fun that they mix up their offerings with limited edition jams!
The nectarine flavor is deliciously intense, as intense as a marmalade without the rind!
And, again, there are nice big chunks of fruit. Like BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG chunks.
I'm a fan. This jam feels like spreadable sweet fruit!
Stonewall Kitchen is also giving some away to one lucky LLE reader. Enter below through February 16 for your chance to win!
