Anyway, in the spirit of my NYC summer, here are a five signs that you are (or are becoming) a New Yorker!

You Know You're a New Yorker When...

You communicate distances in subway stops.

You look at this and think there's plenty of room for you to jump in:

Though the same goes for Bostonians, actually.

You don't get pets because you see enough wildlife everyday, anyway.

  2. When I was in NYC last month oh my stars did I see rats. I'm not a New Yorker (well...upstate NY is certainly a different world).
