Balance Bar New Year Giveaway!

After the indulgent holiday season, it can sometimes be a little hard to get back on track.

Balance Bar  wants to help, by providing some healthy motivation, tips, and even snacks to keep us moving in the right direction!

Whether you're trying to remember to add a little produce to your day or to strive for that thirty minutes of physical activity four or five days a week (dancing, taking the stairs, and walking the kids dogs all count!), having support can help. Let's skip the ridiculous resolutions this year and make reasonable changes in a supportive, not self-abusing, way. Check out the New Year's Balance Pledge, an anti-resolution pledge, and their Facebook page to help with accountability and support in your health journey!

Learn more at their live one-hour Twitter party on Thursday, January 9 at 2:00PM ET. @BalanceBar and @QuickieChick are hosting!

Balance Bar sent me a mixed box of bars (Dark Chocolate Peanut, Chocolate Mint Cookie Crunch, and Yogurt Honey Peanut).

Balance bars are delicious and have an excellent balance of protein, fat, and carbs to keep you well fueled and satisfied throughout the day. Snacking regularly can prevent binging, fatigue, and physical symptoms like headaches and stomachaches. Balance Bars are a great snack to keep you feeling good, even when you're busy!

And they're delicious, so it's not too hard to transition to snacking on them from snacking on sugary holiday treats. They're sweet (the chocolatey flavors are my favorite!) and taste like treats, all while providing you with the nutrition that you need. Win-win!

The best part? They're giving one to a lucky reader, too! You must be in the US to win and can enter through the Rafflecopter widget below until January 20.

They also included a great calendar for the new year (I needed one!) and supercool headphones from Yurbuds!

Yurbuds are headphones designed by women for women and they take the headache out of trying to listen to music, stream a podcast, or catchup on a favorite tv show (Project Runway, anyone?) while working on your fitness.

The unique design keeps the buds from falling out of your ears, because how annoying is it to have to choose between being entertained at the gym/on a walk/jog/run and having a crick-free neck?

No one likes having to do that awkward pleasedontfalloutofmyearsagain shoulder dance while trying to get her sweat on. I sure don't. These are perfect! I definitely recommend checking them out.

Don't forget to check Balance Bar out, either, on FacebookTwitter, and Pinterest to get more great tips and stay on top of new promotions and giveaways!

Please say hello, leave your comments, or answer my questions! It makes me smile when you leave me a note :) I read every single one of them and it makes my day when you guys say hi!
