Once upon a time, there was a girl who loved ice cream.
Her very favorite ice cream of all time was Edy's Loaded Cookies & Cream Ice Cream. Her freezer was never without a tub and her wonderful mother always made sure to have some in the freezer when she came home for break from boarding school (because her mother was/is wonderful).
Then, one sad sad SAD day, Edy's discontinued their Loaded Ice Cream line. The girl experienced her first heartbreak and was inconsolable.
...Edy's discontinued her love. AGAIN. The girl's faith in the ice cream industry was shattered. Alas! She was not meant to be allowed to keep a love.
And then she met Halo Top Creamery during a leisurely stroll through a Whole Food's freezer aisle.
Halo Top Chocolate Mocha Chip:
...it was love at first spoonful! Creamy, sweet, so so so smooth and chocolatey and indulgent - the ice cream was an improved version of Haagen Dazs or Ben & Jerry's!
In place of the heaviness of those ice creams, this one had the smooth, oh so creamy, velvety deliciousness of her former loves, but with extra chocolatey deliciousness in every mouthful. It was the perfect ice cream.
And healthy to boot? It's the ice cream you can eat a whole pint of on a regular basis without digestive upset or waistline issues! 'Is this heaven?' wondered the girl, spoon-deep in her Halo Top dessert.
And they lived happily ever after.
...well, subsequent pints of Halo Top continued to live happily ever after with the girl. This specific pint didn't last very long.
Note to the ice cream geniuses at Halo Top Creamery: Please never ever pull an Edy's and discontinue this flavor or Halo Top Creamery as a whole! Ice cream-loving hearts will break.
(This is an entirely honest review, my love was not bought.)
