For After the Barbecue : A Healthy Reset with Cocobeet!

Tomorrow is July 4 and for many of us, that means it's a full day of barbecuing and food.

But if that's true for you, you may wonder how you can maximize enjoyment of those indulgences, and your aunt's award-winning pie, while minimizing the indigestion, bloating, and general lack of well-being that follows a day of over-indulgence.

Easy - schedule a healthy reset for after the feast day!

I suggest checking out Cocobeet's cleanses, because they offer a variety of options to fit whatever your lifestyle and your needs are. I, for one, can't go a whole day without eating.

And I don't want to! Cocobeet's Transition Cleanse is perfect for people like me, who have high energy needs and/or like to eat.

The cleanse features a mix of fruit and vegetable juices, rich smoothies with healthy, filling fats, and raw vegan meals. You'll fuel your body with only healthy foods, to have you feeling like any unhealthy choices you made on the feast day never even happened, but you won't have to go hungry.

With their emphasis on organic, unprocessed, plant-based foods, you can be sure that your body will enjoy Cocobeet as much as you will!

Cocobeet's cleanses take all the guesswork out of a healthy reset and they're incredibly convenient. If you're local to the Boston metro area or Cambridge, you'll receive your order by bicycle!

If you're outside of the delivery area, don't worry - Cocobeet ships its cleanses nationwide!

All the foods are and smoothies and juices are absolutely delicious to boot! Here's is the 'live' journal-style review of my experience.

5:30am - I woke up hungry. As always. I am not a breakfast-skipper. Without breakfast, nothing works for me! Luckily, there's a drink to have right upon waking - the Heartbeet Power Booster.

I'm not generally a big beet girl, but Heartbeet is made of beet, coconut water, lime, and spirulina. The combination of flavors works really well and I was surprised to find that the sweetness from the beet was enough to make it a nice sweet drink. Yum!

It also stained my mouth a lovely cherry red, so this one doubles as a cosmetic! Kidding...kinda (hey, I don't wear much makeup, okay?).

8am - You get to head into the morning with solid food in your stomach on this cleanse! And food that tastes like dessert, at that.

The chia pudding is filled with satisfying healthy fats, nutrient-rich berries, and flavor. It really is healthy pudding (think tapioca pudding in texture) for breakfast! It's not a little jar, either, and is perfectly portioned for a nice breakfast. Yum!

11am - I was looking forward to trying the Cocobeet Green Genes juice, because I'm a big fan of green juices. This one features kale, spinach, cucumber, celery, apple, parsley, lemon, and ginger.

Made from over 5 pounds of fruits and vegetables, it's definitely very nutrient-rich and not at all watery!

Taste-wise, it didn't disappoint at all! It was sweet, but not too sweet, and all that concentrated nutrition made it really filling. I was surprised by how filling the juice was! I

always scoff a little when I hear someone call a juice 'filling,' since I'm big on food, but this one really was! I have to eat (drink?) my words.

11:55am - Why is my stomach suddenly unhappy?

11:58am - Just kidding, I drank some water. All is good. (You're supposed to drink at least 8-12oz of water between each juice/smoothie/meal - do it!)

2pm - It's time for my first smoothie! I hadn't tried a Cocobeet smoothie before, but was blown away by their amazing acai bowl when I stopped by with a friend the other day. With high hopes, I tried their Blue Coconut Smoothie!

It's made of blueberries, almond butter, almonds, water, coconut oil, chia seeds, and dates. With all those fruit sugars and healthy fats, it's very sweet and really feels and tastes more like an indulgent dessert than a healthy smoothie. When superfoods taste this good, junk food isn't tempting at all!

4pm - I'm still not hungry, surprisingly, but I am starting to feel a little peckish, so I reach for the next drink. Cocobeet's Kickstart perfectly satisfies the mid-afternoon munchies!

It's very sweet and thick, more like a sweet smoothie than a juice, and really filling. I have to drink it slowly, but I'm happy to because it's absolutely delicious!

The juice is recommended as a post-workout recovery drink when not enjoyed as part of a cleanse and I can see why. It gives me an almost immediate boost of energy and leaves me full and happy. 10/10 I would buy it again!

6pm - I've enjoyed my juices and not been ravenous at all during the day, but I do miss chewing so I'm looking forward to having the vegan Kale & Microgreens Salad for dinner!

I absolutely love salads with fruits and nuts or seeds, and this salad has has all of the above (though the nuts are blended into a yummy paste). It tasted amazing and after a day of drinking most of my meals, I savored every bite.

8:30pm - The last item of the day is a Chocolate Power Mylk. I'm not starving, but I'm also not stuffed, so I enjoy the Chocolate Power Mylk as a dessert. I eat some kind of chocolate pretty much every day and it's nice that I don't have to be deprived at all, not even of chocolate, on this cleanse!

The smoothie is thick, creamy, chocolatey, sweet and delicious. I really enjoy it and it keeps me totally full all the way until bedtime. Then it's off to bed and I feel great!

All in all, this was an amazing cleanse experience and I highly recommend it to anyone! It's a gentle cleanse, so you won't spend all day feeling miserable and you still have enough energy and nutrition to go about your daily life and work (though exercising isn't recommended - make your cleanse day your rest day).

If you're looking for a deeper cleanse, they have options for that, too. Or, as I would choose if I needed more of a reset than one day could give me, you can order a multi-day cleanse! With this cleanse, you go to bed satisfied and happy and you wake up at peace and un-bloated (a great feeling after overdoing it for a feast day or for several days). Doing it for several days won't be a punishment, but rather a pleasure!

For those in the Boston area, it's at 100 City Hall in Government Center! Stop by to learn more about the cleanse options in person, try a juice or two to w(h)et your appetite, and check out their amazing salads, acai bowls, desserts, and more! You can learn more about current offerings on their Instagram @purecocobeet.

Recipe: My Favorite Green Smoothie

For those of you who follow me on Instagram (@danaikadzere please do!) you know that I'm pretty obsessed with green smoothies.

They're yummy, refreshing, great for your skin, and put that pep in your step. They're also awesome for digestion and loaded with nutrients! Whether you have a green smoothie to start the day or as a mid-afternoon pick-me-up snack, you can't go wrong.

Even my mom, my big sister, and my ten-year-old little sister love them! They're a healthy universal crowd-pleaser.

Here's a basic recipe for a winning green smoothie!

Fall Reset with JuiceRx

I love fall and winter and all the wonderful things that come with the seasons - the return of layering, the magical appearance of heavenly scented candles all over my home, CHRISTMAS, snow, and a wonderful abundance of apples and kabocha.

Like with most things in life, however, there's a trade off with the shifting seasons. A lot of people find themselves feeling a little out of sorts when the weather shifts for the winter.

While a lot of that is due to difficult-to-avoid biological things (like vitamin D deficiency from reduced exposure to high quality direct sunlight) I think part of it could be due to the seasonal dietary shift.

In summer, we're eating a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables day in and day out. In winter, they're less readily available. But our bodies just feel better when they're well nourished and how we feel physically definitely affects our moods!

Enjoy every beautiful day and feel your best by making a conscious effort to continue to find healthy foods that taste great and make you feel great! I like JuiceRx juices and the yummy raw vegan meals from their new FoodRx venture!

The gingerade is spicy and refreshing, a perfect alternative to ginger ale. Because of the fun lemon twist, it doesn't get boringly sweet after a sip or two, like ginger ale can. It's also great if your stomach feels a little off, because ginger is soothing and helps with nausea. Perfect for flu season!

Pumpkin lovers are also covered. The pumpkin Spice a Milk is a rich, creamy drink that's substantial enough for a meal or a hearty snack and is as decadent as pumpkin pie, but much more energizing.

The dates make it sweet, the carrots and pumpkin make it pretty, the spices make it festive, and the pumpkin seeds make it filling, rich, and great for your skin and hair! Once the heating comes on in the winter, it can really dry out your skin. Taking extra care to keep your skin beautiful from the inside out is so much more effective and lasting than buying lots of expensive creams and lotions.

People always comment on my skin, but I don't use any sort of washes or potions or scrubs - just a standard daily moisturizer when I remember it. Sure, it's definitely partly genetic. But I also think it probably doesn't hurt that I love healthy foods that are great for my skin! Nuts, guys, go for the nuts.

For the green juice lovers (to the ranks of which I definitely count) there are several great green juices.

They're all fairly mild and have a great fruit: vegetable ratio for sweetness. Of the three that I tried, the Green Glow was my favorite!

On to the food.

Love chili in the winter? Their raw vegan chili is so delicious that you won't care in the least that it's not hot. It's filled with almonds, making it hearty and satisfying, as well as great spices and veggies!

I'm generally not a huge sour cream fan, but I actually enjoyed the raw vegan sour cream that came with this dish.

Unfortunately the packaging could use some adjustments for shipping (as you can see, it spilled a bit during shipping and made a mess), but the sauce itself was great. It's not thick like a dairy sour cream (definitely more of a sauce) but still creamy.

The Angel Hair With Hemp Seed Pasta dish was delicious and one of the best dishes I've ever had with kelp noodles. Yum!

Never forgo dessert! The great think about FoodRx chocolate mousse is that you don't have to worry about saving space for it after your meal.

It's healthy enough that you can incorporate it into your meal! And you can even have it for breakfast.

In fact, I recommend eating it off breakfast. I used it to make a delicious layered parfait with crunchy edamame, granola, apples, and blueberries.

Yummy!

From now until November 20, 2014 you can also get 10% off any order with the coupon code LLE10! Head into the holidays feeling healthier than ever with JuiceRx!

Raw Generation Juice Review

Can you believe we're wrapping up summer?

I didn't have a summer vacation this year, since I moved to NYC and started working just days after graduation. I've had a lot of fun this summer, however, and have an awesome vacation planned for September, though, so don't feel bad for me.

I also got an awesome package in the mail - so, you know, win.

I'm going to Hawaii!! I'm so excited, I've never been that far west (not to mention to Hawaii, which seems like a world wonder from the photos in the guidebooks I've been obsessively going through).

I have a ton of plans for Hawaii, including trying Stand Up Paddle-boarding, taking another surfing lesson, lots of chilling on the beach, and hopefully some nice hikes and/or bike rides around the island.

The last thing I want for such a sure-to-be-fantastic trip is to go feeling any less than my best. Feeling good happens from the inside out and that brings me to my awesome package.

I received some Raw Generation juice in the mail! The timing was great, as it's a delicious way to nourish my body and make my sensitive stomach a little less on edge in preparation for my trip.

But let's be honest - when isn't a good time for delicious fruit and vegetable blend juices?

They're shipped frozen and packed on ice, which I love, because it means that I can keep them in the freezer and drink them as I want. There's no rush to drink them all up before a certain expiration date, so it's up to the individual whether they want to do a full juice cleanse with six juices a day, a partial juice cleanse with four juices and a meal or two, or supplement their normal diet with the juices.

However you do it, including adding the juices to your regular diet, they're really easy to drink (so sweet and delicious) and really great for you - it's 100% juice with loads of vitamins, no added sugars, and nothing but fruit and vegetables!

I also have fabulous news, since I'm in a super happy going-on-vacation-soon mood (and, mostly, because Jessica at Raw Generation is really nice): all Living, Learning, Eating readers get 40% off with the coupon code LIVELEARNEAT!

Yum :)

Where are you going on vacation next (or hoping to)?

Where did you last go on vacation?

What's your favorite type of juice?

Getting Revved On Juice!

Want to try some juices that are actually just pure vegetables? Curious, or you really have no sweet tooth?

On Juice has juices that are the truest to the idea of a pure vegetable green juice that I have seen in all of my juice sampling.

They have a variety of juices that you can order individually or as part of their juice cleanses (as well as several cleanse packages that are designed to allow you to combine solid food and their juices - perfect for busy people, pregnant women, etc.) and there's something for everyone.

If you're into milder, sweeter juices, you'll enjoy juices like their Sublime (a mild green juice lightly sweetened with apples) or their Lemon Aid.

The Lemon Aid is pretty amazing, it's a sweet and spicy lemonade where the kick of the cayenne pepper and natural sourness of the lemon combine delightfully with the sweetness of the agave nectar to  create an energizing, refreshing mid-afternoon pick-me-up. This one is great to add as a daily drink, even outside of a cleansing routine!

The Unbeetable is a beet, carrot, and celery juice that, unlike other root juices, isn't mixed with fruit juice. It's more intense because of that, but quickly becomes an acquired taste with the interesting flavors of the ginger and lime!

The Upskale, on the other hand, takes quite a bit of adjusting. I am not at all a routine sweet juice drinker and prefer vegetable juices to fruit juices, as I find that fruit juice can become kind of cloyingly sweet when you're drinking a lot of it. But this one, along with the Deep Green, were even a bit much for me!

I ended up sweetening both of those with agave nectar myself and then found that they were quite taste. I think the addition of the chlorella to the Deep Green is what made it have such an unusual, and intensely green, flavor - but it's a drink where you feel yourself getting healthier as you drink it!

Placebo effect? Perhaps a bit, but there's no doubt that you're flooding your body with nutrients and that's never a bad thing. Ordering some juices to keep in the fridge and drink here and there is a great option.

Unlike a lot of other natural juice companies, these juices don't expire after just three days and it's thus not necessary to drink them back-to-back, as in a cleanse. There's no pressure to finish your juices fast with this, so you can drink them as you please!

I love that self-determination. After all, I like having things my way.

It's recommended that you drink the juices within 6 days for optimal nutrient content, but they stay good for three weeks. That's great news to me, because it means you can order an assortment of your favorite juices and keep them in the fridge so that you can have a juice here and there, whenever you notice that you're feeling a little bleh or haven't had much produce in your diet lately.

Each juice is about 200-300 calories of powerful nutrition (the label is only for half a bottle, but you're intended to drink the whole thing at once).

It's perfect for this time of year for that very reason!

How often do you drink juice?

What's your favorite kind of juice?

What drinks are in your fridge right now?

Fuel Up Without Denial - Life Force Juice's Fresh Take

Juices has been becoming ever more popular recently, experiencing a real renaissance since the first real juicing crave in the US in the 1970s. Unlike back then, juices today can be convenient (delivered) and actually tasty (aka, don't taste like mowed grass).

Ooh, look - a big cooler and a warm insulated bag!
Life Force Juice is breaking a new frontier in juicing by trying to make fresh and healthy juices accessible to all sorts of people in all sorts of lifestyles. They believe that juice isn't just for prissy people with light schedules who can afford to sit around all day, starving and faint. Life Force Juice says juice can, and should, be fore athletes, busy college students, professionals, and pretty much anyone!

Their juices aren't a cleanse, they're a system of juices that you drink with and between meals to improve nutritional intake and nourish your whole body through and through. They don't have rules, they don't tell you what to eat and what not to eat, they don't have an order in which you have to drink your juices - for fans of the intuitive eating movement, this is definitely the juice provider for you.

Beet Poet - Beet, Apple, Cucumber. 100% Organic.
I felt great during all my days of enjoying their juices, teas, and smoothies (another way in which they are more well-rounded - you get some fiber in your banana-licious smoothies!) and, because I could eat normally, wasn't at all hungry or tired. I had more energy than usual and found myself being really productive. That's great any time of year, but especially around final exams period and the holidays!

Vibrant Green - Swiss Chard, Cucumber, Celery, Apple. 100% Organic.
With Life Force Juice it's easier than ever to stay healthy during the holidays without stressing, being that annoying picky eater, or giving up your favorite holiday treats. You'll feel better because your body is getting the nutrients it needs without having to obsess about where you'll squeeze in some fruits and veggies.

The Classic - Carrot, Apple, Ginger. 100% Organic.
The juices are all sweet, but naturally so from apple and orange juices, and the smoothies are thick and creamy.

Carrot Cake Smoothie - Homemade Vanilla Almond Milk, Carrot Juice, Carrot, Banana, Ginger, Spices.
The Carrot Cake smoothie tasted absolutely dessert-like, like a holiday milkshake, but is packed with carrots and carrot juices (creamy from the banana and vanilla almond milk). My mom loves carrot cake and I couldn't help but think of her as I enjoyed this smoothie (I really want to call it a shake, because that's what it tastes like).

Greenya Colada Smoothie - Pineapple, Banana, Dark Greens (Seasonal, often Swiss Chard or Kale), and Coconut. 100% Organic.
The Lala Berry and Greenya Colada smoothies are also delicious, creamy, and  make very satisfying snacks!

Lala Berry Smoothie - Banana, Strawberry, Blueberry, and Homemade Almond Milk. 100% Organic.
The Life Force Infusion Package also includes teas that are steeped overnight to get the full benefits of the herbs.

The teas were very unique in flavor, from the Profound Health Tea to the Deep Mineral Tea to the Lucid Dream Tea. That last one knocked me right out and I slept so much more soundly than I had in ages, even on just a mattress on the floor!

Student problems.

Anyway, the flavors are very intense, likely due to the intensive steeping process, and can be a bit much to start. I sweetened them with some honey and then they were really great!

My only complaint is that the jars, while absolutely adorable and so hipster-chic/eco-stylish, would have been better if labeled. Some of the teas weren't, so it was a guessing game to figure out what I was drinking. But it was all great stuff, so I suppose it doesn't really matter what I was drinking when (with the exception of the Lucid Dream Tea)!

Some were labeled, so I used the process of elimination!
Life Force packages have healthy sugars, fats, proteins, vitamins, and minerals to heal your body from the inside out, if you've been neglecting your health or just feeling under the weather, and they're delicious to boot. Not bad at all!

Wise Apple - Apple, Sage, Ginger

At the moment, Life Force Juice products are exclusive to the Boston metro area, but you can check here to see if they're available near you and to order some online!

Do you drink juice?

What juice do you drink most often?

Do you sleep soundly? I generally do sleep pretty soundly, except on planes and car trips, because I'm a sleep-deprived student. What can I say? See above: student problems.

WIAW #65 - Fresh and Fruity

*NOTE* For just a few more hours, you can get an awesome deal on a home-delivery Fraser Christmas Tree - I just bought mine here!*

Before we get into the WIAW part of this post, I have to tell you (well, my Wednesday-only readers, since the others already know) about something that's been weighing deeply on my heart.

I'm suffering.

I'm suffering from a serious case of Is It Christmas Yet? and it's no fun to suffer alone. Every day, I tick off the previous day so that I can come one day closer to December 1, when it's officially okay for me to start to celebrate.

But misery loves company.

So I had this dilemma. How could I get some people to join me in my crazy-countdown-to-December-1 syndrome?

I thought and I thought until I came up with a brilliant idea. I would do what ABC Family's 25 Days of Christmas does for Christmas movies, only my corellary would be for free stuff! Everyone loves free stuff!

Am I right? Eh, eh?
So I'm hosting the first (annual?) LLE 25 Days of Giveaways!! There will be a new giveaway winner every day from December 1 through December 25, so there'll be plenty of chances for everyone to win something - even my international readers!

Each giveaway will run two weeks, which means that I've already been posting a new giveaway each day since this past Saturday - and today is no exception!

Holidays mean guests and, often enough to have spurred many funny films and TV shows, last-minute guests. So here's something that's great to have on hand whenever you have any guests swing by. Though if this is always around, you'll probably be entertaining quite often this holiday season!

Triple Chocolate Caramel Popcorn

Chocolate Bar Shop Triple Chocolate Caramel Popcorn is made with organic ingredients and no high fructose corn syrup. Instead, it's a wonderful marriage of milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and white chocolate over caramel popcorn with chocolate covered pecan bits.

Who needs guests? This looks yummy enough to eat by yourself, too!

Triple Chocolate Caramel Popcorn

But just in case you want to gift it to a special someone, it comes in pretty silver tins with ribbons!

Triple Chocolate Caramel Popcorn

This giveaway is open to everyone (international readers, too, yay!) and you have until December 5 to enter for your chance to win a yummy tin full of Triple Chocolate Caramel Popcorn.

So did it work? Is everyone anxiously awaiting December 1 with me?

And don't forget to stop by my giveaway page so you can get caught up on entering my other current giveaways!

Anyway, today is WIAW. And I've lately gotten the chance to try a great variety of yummy juices, so I'll review those here now! So it's more of a WIDW (What I Drank Wednesday).

Peas and Crayons
Life Juice Shop provides three day juice cleanses full of nutritious, delicious juices! I've never done a juice cleanse before, but I've heard a lot about them. Well...I still haven't done a juice cleanse. I probably never will.

I'm a busy college girl and I need my food ;)

But I have been enjoying the benefits of adding more juice to my regular diet! Adding these healthful juices to my regular eats definitely makes me feel better and adds a little pep to my step!

Yes, still the pep-in-the-step effect, even with the processed mac & cheese (which, by the way, does not come with the cleanse)
Especially leading up to, or following, the indulgent holiday season (which should rightfully be packed with such decadent treats as the chocolate caramel popcorn above!) adding fruit & veg juices (even if, like me, you don't do the real cleanse thing) can help improve digestion, improve sleep, reduce bloating, normalize cravings, reset eating, and strengthen immunity, among other things.

They keep the juices super cool for delivery with double insulation!
If you're thinking about a juice cleanse, I recommend really considering if ordering a cleanse and then just adding those juices over several days might be a better plan. Juice cleanses just aren't for everyone. A juice cleanse is not recommended for those who suffer from:
   * eating disorders, such as anorexia nervosa or bulimia
   * heart failure
   * hypothyroidism
   * anemia
   * low blood sugar
   * etc.
It's also not recommended if you're pregnant or nursing, recently underwent surgery, or are very active, as it may not meet your energy and nutrient needs. The cleanses are intended to last three days, but (as I did) you can spread those juices over several days, interspersed with food, and still reap a lot of benefits from the healthy juices. Many people like enjoying two juices per day as snacks (like I have been!) or as a healthy post-exercise pick-me-up over the long-term, just to stay feeling their best!

The juices come with a cooler bag (comfortably fits two bottles and an ice pack) to take your juices on the go.
The cleanse, however, comes with 6 juices per day. Each bottle is 2 servings of 8oz each, but both servings are intended to be consumed at once (so why is it divided into two servings? Beats me). The juices are all freshly made, unpasteurized, and contain no preservatives - so you'll want to keep them refrigerated.

They arrive frozen, though (mine were still frozen after sitting on the steps for 8 hours while I was at school!), and while they should only stay defrosted for up to 3 days, you can keep them for longer in the freezer (for example, if you want to order the juices and just drink one or two per day to supplement your usual foods).

If you're doing the cleanse, and not just adding juices to your diet, you're likely to experience some unpleasant side effects, including headaches, fatigue, irritability, constipation/diarrhea, dizziness, abdominal cramps, etc. If you experience any stronger side effects, it is advised that you stop cleansing immediately and consult your doctor.

Anyway, let's get to the juices! There are several varieties of 16oz juices.

Himalayan Sea Salt Sole - Filtered spring water, lemon, Himalayan sea salt

Ugh, this one was hard to drink. It's the first drink of the day if you're following the cleanse and you're supposed to drink it warm. I heated it up in a pot of hot water, but I'm afraid drinking it warm didn't do much for the taste. It's...salty.

Since I wasn't cleansing anyway and was just adding in the drinks, I ended up not drinking two of the the three sole bottles.

Alkaline Blend - Apple, carrots, beet, spinach, cucumber, celery, and lime.

LOOOOOOOOOOVE. This is the second drink of the day, following the cleanse plan, and also the second juice that I tried. I was really not looking forward to it for two reasons. First, the sole tasted so icky (sorry, but it's true) that I didn't have high hopes (and I was a little nauseas). Second, I loathe beets.

My German grandmother is convinced that beets are the be-all, end-all of good nutrition and she's always trying (unsuccessfully) to get me to eat them. But I just don't like them.

This however? Oh. My. Gosh. My first wary sip turned into not being able to get enough!

This is delicious - it's very sweet (since, like most of the other juices, the first ingredient is apple) and it tastes super fresh. The carrots and beet add a special something (the beets add a sort of spice, but not in the sharp/hot way) that really tastes good! And I couldn't really taste much of the other veggies at all, but the overall blend was just delightful. And it's a satisfying juice! I'd drink this instead of OJ with my breakfast :)

Oh My Green Goodness! - Apple, cucumber, celery, lemon, spinach, kale, parsley, ground ginger.

There are two of these per day (so I guess this would be considered the staple drink of the cleanse) and they're meant to be the third and fifth drinks of the day.

Energizer Bunny - Apple, carrot, lemon, ginger.

This one is absolutely delicious! I really like carrots, but I don't like carrot juice. This carrot apple juice? So sweet and delicious!! And the ginger and lemon just make it all the more delicious :)

Toasty Spiced Almond Milk - Filtered water, raw almonds, dates, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg

This one is, if you're following the cleanse, the last drink before bed. Even if you're not, like me, this is great as a bedtime snack! Warmed in a hot water bath for a few minutes, it's a delightfully comforting drink that's as delightfully holiday-tasting as a mug of eggnog or spiced cider. But it's healthier! Aka, an awesome Christmas movie night drink :)

You can order juices individually or as part of various packages (including the three day cleanse). Life Juice Shops ships its juices (overnight) across the USA.

But since it's WIAW, I do need some food in here. So how about a big, warm chocolate chip cookie?

The best thing about Doubletree Hotels is definitely the cookies at check-in. YUM.

Do you drink juice often?

What's your favorite type of juice?

What are you hoping I'll give away in one of my 25 Days of Giveaways?
