* 3 ripe bananas
* 1 Tbsp. milk
* 2 tsp. vanilla extract
* 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
* Dash nutmeg
* 0.5 c. butter, softened
* 0.5 c. brown sugar
* 0.5 c. white sugar
* 2 eggs
* 1 c. semisweet chocolate chips
1) Preheat oven to 325F (165C). Grease and flour a 9" x 5" loaf pan.
2) Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.
3) In a separate bowl, mash the bananas and mix in the milk, spies, and vanilla. Mix well.
4) In a third bowl, beat the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, mix well. Sorry for all the bowls to wash, but this loaf is well worth it!
5) Stir the banana mixture into the butter mixture until well combined.
6) Stir in the dry mixture, gradually, until just combined. Don't overmix!
7) Carefully fold in the chocolate chips.
8) Pour the batter in the prepared loaf pan.
Bake in the middle of the preheated oven for ~70 minutes, or until it passes the toothpick test. Tent the loaf with aluminum foil if it's browning too quickly.
